HousingWire Names Anchor Loans CEO Andy Pollock a 2022 Vanguard Award Winner

The annual HousingWire Vanguard Awards recognizes 100 senior-level executives in the housing finance industry who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the space. The 2022 honorees were chosen by HousingWire’s selection committee for their vital contributions to their companies and the dynamic way they are changing the industry.

Anchor Loans CEO Andrew Pollock was recognized for his leadership in the growth of the organization over the past 18 months. In 2021, his first full year as CEO, Anchor’s annual loan volume increased from $1 billion to $1.8 billion and the company became the first fix-and-flip lender to pass the $10 billion milestone in total originations. In November 2021, Pollock led the negotiations that resulted in Anchor Loans’ acquisition by Pretium Partners, a specialized residential real estate investment management company with more than $40 billion in assets. Pollock’s performance at Anchor Loans is only the latest in a long series of successes at financial service companies and start-ups he has built and led throughout his career.

“I am truly honored to be one of this year’s HousingWire Vanguard Award winners,” said Pollock. “This award speaks volumes about Anchor Loans’ continued growth, but more importantly, is a testament to the hard work of our incredibly talented team.”

"The Vanguard Awards showcases the exemplary leaders in housing who are constantly innovating and evolving despite inevitable economic headwinds,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. “This year’s honorees have proven to be laser-focused on the goals of their organizations, recognizing and seizing opportunities when they present themselves, and refusing to settle for the status quo.”
