Anchor Loans, Inc. is licensed as a real estate broker with the California Department of Real Estate and a California finance lender with the California Department of Corporations. Anchor makes or arranges loans to its borrowers pursuant to one of these lending licenses or the lending licenses held by Anchor’s affiliate mortgage funds, Anchor Fund, LLC and Access Investment, LLC.
Anchor Loans has been actively involved in the real estate and mortgage lending business since June 1, 1999, focusing on the underwriting and originating of real estate secured loans to third party borrowers and arranging for private investors (including its affiliated mortgage funds) to participate in the ownership of such loans. Anchor has underwritten and originated over 4,300 loans representing a principal balance in excess of $980 million.
