Jeffrey Lipton Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder |
|  | As a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Loans, Mr. Lipton is a licensed real estate agent with extensive experience as a private investor. Through his 15 years in real estate, he was involved in over 5,000 private money real estate transactions totaling more than $1.2 billion. Mr. Lipton’s has personally trained the majority of Anchor's senior staff over the past 10 years, and his approach to managing Anchor’s lending business has supported the company’s growth from a start-up in 1998 to its current size. Mr. Lipton manages Anchor's constructions, sales, acquisitions, and lending activities. His keen ability to identify investment opportunities has created tremendous value for investors and resulted in strong profits and significant growth for the company. Also, Mr. Lipton is actively involved in Anchor’s equity business, a practice that has resulted in the purchase of over 800 properties since 2009, mostly single family homes totaling over $200 million acquisitions. Mr. Lipton has also developed and managed Anchor's long-term buy and hold program. Mr. Lipton’s expertise in the strategic planning of the purchasing of the properties has allowed for these properties to be successfully rehabilitated and repositioned for disposition and investment. In addition, Mr. Lipton has played a key role in the arena of business development, and serves as a trusted advisor to many of Anchor's clients and investors. A native of Queens, Mr. Lipton credits his New York roots for firing his drive for success, competitive edge and tenacity. He now resides in Palos Verdes, CA with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys attending Lakers and Clippers games, fishing for salmon in the Pacific Northwest, taking in Broadway shows, and watching his children’s youth sports activities. Mr. Lipton is also the treasurer of the Palos Verdes Peninsula High School Booster Club and sits on the executive board. Mr. Lipton also serves and contributes toward a number of public service and non-profit causes. |

Steve Pollack President & Co-Founder |
 | Dr. Pollack is a Co-Founder of Anchor Loans and serves as President of the company. He oversees the administration of investor relations and borrower services, capital markets, operations, finance, loan processing, and the servicing of Anchor’s loan portfolio. In addition, he serves as COO for the organization. Dr. Pollack has over 30 years of experience in real estate during which he has garnered extensive knowledge of information systems and loan servicing procedures. He also sits on the board of the California Mortgage Association where he is serving his third year as Secretary. In the decade prior to his real estate ventures and the formation of Anchor Loans, Dr. Pollack ran a successful optometry practice in Stockton, CA. He served as President of the San Joaquin Optometric Association and was actively involved with the California Optometric Association. In addition, Dr. Pollack served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry’s Contact Lens Clinic where he supervised optometric residents – being one of the youngest faculty members in the history of the school. Originally from New York, Dr. Pollack now resides with his wife and son in Agoura Hills, CA. When not surveying investment opportunities, he enjoys coaching his son’s sports activities, practicing martial arts, traveling the world, reading, playing golf and volunteering his time with non-profits. |

Dan Harrington Co-Founder |
 | As the former Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Anchor Loans, Mr. Harrington has more than 20 years of experience in real estate as an investor and a mortgage broker. Prior to real estate, he was a stock market investor and attorney practicing in real estate and bankruptcy law, and served as a partner of Boston-based law firm Member & Harrington for over a decade. He retired from Anchor Loans in 2010, but remains a major shareholder. Mr. Harrington is also an accomplished professional poker and backgammon player. His achievements include winning the World Series of Poker, the WPT Legends Championship of Poker, the National Backgammon Championship, the Massachusetts State Chess Championship, and appearing on the cover of Forbes magazine. He has authored the “Harrington on Hold ‘em” series of poker books, which are currently the best selling volumes written on the subject. He credits poker and backgammon for sharpening his instincts and refining his understanding of equity while developing his conservative approach to transactions. A Massachusetts native, Mr. Harrington holds a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and a B.A. in Government and History from Suffolk University. |
Robert Wasmund Executive Vice President - Acquisitions |  | Mr. Wasmund is responsible for managing the acquisition, development and disposition of all properties for the Anchor Homes office. Using his expertise in the trustee sale auction space, Anchor Homes has acquired and repositioned over 1,000 assets, totaling more than $200 million over the past three years. Mr. Wasmund is a pivotal source of originating, structuring and closing over a billion dollars in private money loans. Mr. Wasmund is instrumental in developing business and creating relationships to continue the growth and expansion of both Anchor Homes and Anchor Loans on the west coast. Mr. Wasmund attended the University of North Florida, is a graduate of U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School, and served as a reactor operator for five years on the U.S.S. Enterprise. He also competes nationally as a semi-pro baseball player, winning 6 national titles between the years 2002-2011. | | |
Robert Fragoso Executive Vice President - Valuations & Originations |
 | Mr. Fragoso brings a wealth of real estate knowledge to Anchor Loans in his position as Executive Vice President. Since Anchor’s inception in 1998, he has been instrumental in generating new business, which contributed significantly to the company’s growth. Mr. Fragoso manages the loan origination activities at Anchor, and participates in strategic planning for acquisitions, and works closely with Mr. Wasmund. Having been exposed to real estate investing from an early age, Mr. Fragoso’s natural acumen has allowed him to be a successful private real estate investor since the early 1990s. With over 20 years experience on both sides of a real estate transaction, his ability to identify untapped opportunities, combined with his expertise in maximizing the potential value in rehab properties, remain fundamental in fostering borrower success. Today, he embodies a true love of the real estate business, embracing new techniques and creating win-win opportunities for Anchor Loans’ clients.

Matt Ediger Vice President - Construction & Development |
 | In his position as Vice President, Mr. Ediger brings a vast array of real world experience from his previous position as a private builder and contractor. At the start of his career, he quickly rose through the ranks at one of the nation’s top ranked general contractors. The desire to work in neighborhood development brought him to the residential side of construction in the early 2000s. Mr. Ediger’s duties at Anchor include overseeing the borrowers’ construction and renovation operations, and oversight of renovation budgets and completion for Anchor's loan transactions. Mr. Ediger received his B.S. degree in Construction Engineering and Management at Kansas State University. He resides with his wife in Pasadena, and enjoys surveying art and painting in his free time. |

Angela Jones Human Resources Director | | Mrs. Jones has over 13 years of human resources experience; much of that time has been focused on benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS, recruitment, employee retention, special events, training and development and process improvement. Prior to joining Anchor, Mrs. Jones worked in many facets of the human resources arena including a large international entertainment company and a small start-up internet company which grew rapidly. In both positions, she served as a human resources manager and human resources generalist, partnering with senior management to create and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with the company's overall vision. Mrs. Jones has a human resources certificate from UCLA, and is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She currently resides in Van Nuys with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys serving her community, working out, and spending quality time with her family. | |
Kathleen Klima Controller |  | Ms. Klima, as Anchor's Controller, brings an immeasurable amount of accounting and finance experience to the team. Ms. Klima's experience stems from small to large companies, mostly in the real estate field. As Controller she is responsible for the company's day-to-day accounting activities as well as the daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reportings. Ms. Klima received her B.S. degree in Accountancy from California State University Northridge. | |
